	Poor 1 pts	Fair 3 pts	Good 5 pts
Use of Book	Poor -Makes vague references -No direct quotes or page numbers -Does not seem to have read the book, or have a knowledge of what it was about	Fair -Makes few specific references, a few quotes with specific page numbers -Some, knowledge of the book	Good -Makes several specific quotes with page numbers -Has clearly read the book and his comfortable discussing it
FYF Application	Poor -Does not connect it the first year experience - Does not show understanding of why the book was chosen	Fair -Loosely connects it to First Year experience - Gives some indication of understanding why the book was chosen - attempts to apply it to students	Good -Makes strong connection from book to first year expirence - provides solid understanding to why the book was chosen -successfully applies it to issues students face
Organization	Poor -Lesson plan is difficult to understand -could not be taught by another person if needed -poor organization used -Not detailed enough	Fair -some template was used -could be taught by another person if needed -some details left out	Good -well organized and easy to follow -could easily be taught by another -very detailed, everything needed is provided
